Is your character superstitious?
Not in the slightest.
Stuck in a waiting room. Which magazine do they pick up? He probably wouldn't, he'd just sit and think.
Morality:
What is one thing in their past they’re ashamed of? One thing they’re proud of? He's ashamed of a lot of the things he did during his employment with the Time Agency, including assassinations. He is proud of his decision to sacrifice himself to buy the Doctor time to save the world, even though it didn't turn out how he expected.
