Captain Jack and Captain Jack [for slayers_desire]

It's been a few months since the team got their first lessons in psychic shielding, and once again, the Hub is open to April's expertise. Though he knows they're having guests, Jack doesn't push anyone to clean up the clutter so it looks better. The Hub is still a work space, and a chaotically changing one at that. They're all used to it by now, and Jack knows April won't mind.

Ianto is manning the tourist information office upstairs, as usual, and he knows that April is coming.

"You too." April gives him a hug. She is not going to head home right away, first she wants to spend some quality hunting time in the Vampire Village.

((lol. Well we do have to plot out the next thread. :P I'm still debating when April would be called in for the events of the next day. By the time things really go south it's too urgent to take the time to call anybody, but there are some interesting circumstances where Jack won't be able to call her as soon as it's over.))

((depends on how much you want to change Jack's canon. I am fine with April finding out later, if you don't want to mess the timeline too much))

After everything goes to crap and Bilis manipulates the team into wanting to open the Rift, Jack tries to stop them and Owen shoots him in the head. By the time he revives, the demon Abaddon is let free, and it starts feasting on people's lives. Jack lets it feed on him because his life never stops, so it pretty much gorges itself until it dies. Jack dies from the trauma of it and he's dead for days instead of minutes. So I figure the first chance anyone would have to call April would be during Jack's dead time.))

((That would work. April being there when Bilis manipulates everyone was my concern, because she could easily prevent the visions.))

((I think it's avoidable. I don't think any of them know about each other having visions until after Jack's sacrifice, when they have a chance to talk about it. Things are pretty hectic the whole day up to that point. So we wouldn't have to worry about that.

April might also be able to help revive Jack a little sooner than if they had to wait normally.))
